Stitching is crucial to the creation of our textile handbags. More complex than one might think, you have to use the right thread for each material - for example canvas requires a strong thread but not too strong that it could cause the canvas to rip. And when you add layers of complexity like a softer fabric for inner lining, the thread has to work in harmony for both pieces of textile.
Augustus is the well-seasoned and highly skilled canvas technician that works on our pieces. He loves working on new designs and is passionate about passing his knowledge and skills down to the next generation.
